Rachel Hynds Boyd is a senior Compositor for high end television across 2D, 3D, Live action and Mixed Media. Working in software such as After Effects, Mocha, Nuke, Toon Boom, Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
Rachel is currently a Compositor for SSVFX.
Rachel has experience working with networks such as Netflix, Disney, Amazon Prime, PBS, RTE, Nick Jr, Cbeebies, TG4 and BBC.
As well as her main love for compositing, Rachel enjoys writing and directing for animation. Rachel’s short film released in October 2021 ‘Cliodhna Queen of the Banshees’ for RTE was nominated for ‘Best Irish Short’ in the Dublin Animation and Film Festival 2021. Rachel is currently working towards a Masters in Creative Writing at Queens University, Belfast.
Rachel primarily works in TV and Film but does offer workshops to share skills she’s learnt across her time in the industry.
